![]() That's power, that when it comes down to it, was respect and fear commanded by that rifle in the hands of a CO. Like, If you get a ex-DOC issue, think about how that particular rifle kept violent men, men of will, confined and under control. ![]() The GB is functionally just a Mini 14 that costs more than a new one in not so great condition, but it is has it's own appeal. IMO the AR-15 (and 1911 for that matter) are the best all things considered and everyone should have one, but there are other guns out there to continue filling your safe with. I can't remember the exact dates but I thing the last GB's were made in the early or mid 80's. There were a few different variations of these types. I might want to pick one up in the future. mag (when there were many companies making aftermarket versions of these products to slip on at considerable savings) To me it's one of those 70's/80's classics you'd always see in the action movies. Had 2 minis before that, also had at the time also a post 94 Bushmaster Shorty. after all was said and done, and it was pretty rough. I had a stainless fixed stock model, cost around 700. ![]()
